Cube (Not a Love Story)

From the time my love is gone,
From the time I forgot to love…

I am so empty like a cube
I have walls but no paintings — good or bad.
I have corners but no writing table
I have windows but outside —
No lights of the city, no blueness of the sky, no birds chirping on no green trees.

From the time my love is gone,
From the time I forgot to love…
I am so empty like a cube,
I have open doors, but no one to come inside

And I, I am afraid to go outside in this frightening wilderness.
I have no passion, Oh! Artless Oh! Feeling-less — What I have become?
I am in a deep excavation, lost…
Waiting for it to close up upon me…
In mud and soil… Giving way to skyscrapers… (Sacrifice)
